Ardnas Shoes, LLC
In 2009 I had a need for a custom made dress shoe. I could not find a comfortable shoe no matter how much I paid for it. There was no comfortable padding in the shoes and it felt like I was walking on the ground with rocks under my feet.
For years I couldn’t figure out why my feet hurt so much in shoes. I even tried wearing flats. There was just no relief. The pain under the balls of my feet was unbearable. I am at the point where I never walk without flip flops on. I had several surgeries to try and so call correct the pressure problem under my feet and then years later after suffering and going from one foot doctor to another I found out I was basically walking on skin and bone. I have no fat pads under my feet. Now I am to the point where I don’t wear dresses any more because I can only wear flip flops and athletic shoes. I am constantly giving shoes away that are not comfortable to wear. I have spent so much money on shoes in an effort to find something comfortable to wear. I may like the style of a shoe but wearing one in pain is just not going to work. I know a lot of the ladies can relate, when your feet hurt, your whole body hurts.
Now I am at the point of knowing what I am looking for but cannot find it in a shoe. That is when I decided I would have to design a shoe that will allow me to be comfortable and that will also be attractive. They would have to accent the feet and compliment the legs, as we women like. After designing these shoes I would then have them custom made and tailored for me.
Well, while designing my shoe sole with a reasonable heel height and support, I really became excited about having a dress shoe to wear again. Every shoe style I completed you can hear me say “Oh I have to have this one”. I could see my feet in these shoes, they were so cute and exactly what I was looking for in a shoe.
Now the process of looking for someone to custom make my shoes was the next step so that when the completed pattern was fnished they can be made. The expense was the last thing on my mind, I just wanted a shoe that I can wear comfortably. All of a sudden this inspired thought came over me to start my own shoe collection in order to make available a comfortable, attractive, stylish, and affordable designer dress shoe for all women.
I continued drawing and designing, prepared the patent, logo and all the legalities and Ardnas Shoes, LLC was born. Most of the time was spent locating and considering a manufacturing company that will deliver the best quality Ardnas Shoe.
The Ardnas Collection will be manufactured and produced here in the US.
